David H. Fry

David Fry was the founder and publisher of ETF Digest and has more than 45 years of experience in the investment and finance industry. His previous book, Create Your Own ETF Hedge Fund: A DIY Guide to Private Wealth Management, was published in 2007 by Wiley & later, The Best Equity ETFs.

Dave Fry founded ETF Digest in 2001 and was among the very first to recognize the need for an online publication that dealt exclusively with ETFs. Subsequently he was named to the ETF Hall of Fame: The 25 Most Influential People to the ETF Industry.During his tenure with registered firms he maintained over 8 securities licenses and operated his own securities firms.

The question most asked is: "Are there too many ETFs?" The answer is a resounding "YES"! He would just recommend investors choose a handful of important names and sectors.
