Veronica Wolff is an award-winning, bestselling author based in Northern California. She writes in several genres and is known for stories featuring lots of action, emotion, intrigue, and of course, love.

She adores Scotland, kilts and swords, vampires, teen fiction, and all things fantasy, dystopian, and paranormal.

She writes Young Adult fiction with her series The Watchers, about an island of brutal, old-school vampires who train girls to become special agents and assassins. Not just for teens, it has lots of adult fans as well. The first book in the series won the National Readers’ Choice Award:
