Steven McCornack

Hey Everyone! Thanks so much for visiting my Author's Page. My name is Steven McCornack (although I prefer "Steve"), and I'm the author of the interpersonal communication textbook, "Reflect & Relate." I'm currently Associate Professor, Honors Advisor, and Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in the Department of Communication at Michigan State University, where I've taught since 1988 (frightening to think it's been so long!). I'm passionate about the importance of undergraduate teaching; and the transformative potential of interpersonal communication instruction in particular. Other than teaching, my principal passions are my family (Kelly, my wife of 20+ years; and my three Irish red-headed-maniac sons, Kyle, Colin, and Conor), music (I'm a fanatical audiophile and drummer), martial arts (Okinawan Karate), Yoga, wine, and coffee.
