Robbie Allen

Robbie Allen is a pioneering AI entrepreneur and technology leader with over two decades of experience building innovative companies. He founded Automated Insights in 2011, one of the first commercial generative AI companies, which transformed data into narrative content for organizations including the Associated Press and Yahoo before being acquired by Vista Equity Partners. In 2017, he co-founded Infinia ML, developing enterprise deep learning solutions as a spin-out from Duke University. Currently, Robbie serves as Managing Director of Automated Consulting Group, Executive Chairman of Bionic Health, and General Partner at Triangle Tweener Fund. He held distinguished engineering roles at Cisco for 13 years and has authored multiple technical books with O'Reilly Media. Robbie holds master's degrees in Engineering and Management from MIT and studied Computer Science at East Carolina University and the University of Manchester. His work spans AI strategy, product development, and thought leadership across healthcare, finance, media, and enterprise technology.
