Cal Newport

Cal Newport is a Professor of Computer Science at Georgetown University where he is also a founding faculty member of the Center for Digital Ethics. He work focuses on the impact of technology and ways to respond that promote human thriving. Newport is the author of numerous bestselling books, including Slow Productivity, A World Without Email, Digital Minimalism, and Deep Work, which have collectively sold over 3 million copies in over 50 languages. He is also a frequent contributor to The New Yorker and The New York Times and is the host of a weekly podcast.
