J.C. lives with his spouse and writing partner Barb and two cats (Cinders and Ashes) south of Portland, OR. Together with his spouse, Barb, he authored the series/books of the Noble Dead Saga (2003-2016), their first novel-length collaborations and one the longest running high/dark fantasy series to date.
