Rupa Gupta

Rupa Gupta, a Senior Editor with a leading educational publishing house, based in Delhi, is a published author of around 30 children’s books (including novels short stories, graphic novels, picturebooks and educational books) of which several have won literary awards. Her interest in the comic/graphic form of writing goes back to the time when she wrote for Amar Chitrakatha and Tinkle. She began her career as a journalist and went on to become the editor for a teenage magazine in the Gulf where she spent many years. Rupa has contributed extensively (on subjects as varied as celebrity interviews, travel, social issues, lifestyle etc) to leading newspapers and journals both in India and in the Middle East. Articles published in leading newspapers and magazines, including The Statesman, The Times India, Economic Times, Hindustan Times, The Hindu, India Magazine, Swagat, City Scan, Eve’s Weekly, Caravan, Outlook Traveller, as well as Gulf News.
