Wm. (Wilhelmina) Penn, born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., has lived in Japan since 1973. A long-time weekly columnist for both the Yomiuri and Asahi newspapers, Penn wrote the Daily Yomiuri TV column "Televiews" for a quarter century before her conversion to digital publishing.
