M. A. Gordon

Mark Aitken Gordon grew up in New England, and was educated at Phillips Academy (Andover), Yale University (BA in physics), and the University of Colorado (PhD in astro-geophysics). He holds appointments of Scientist Emeritus at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory and Adjunct Professor of Astronomy at the University of Arizona. For more than 40 years, he was an avid sailor. He has an Extra-Class Amateur Radio license. He wintered at Hallett Station, Antarctica, in 1960. Loves cooking.
