Geoffrey Davis is no stranger to crisis and helps adolescents and young adults understand that they are not alone in their struggle with depression, suicide ideation and addiction. As the Co-founder of Living thru Crisis Geoffrey shares his journey to encourage those in similar situations to get the help they need before it’s too late.
As an author, writer and speaker he works to end the stigma of that often goes hand in hand with mental/behavioral health diagnosis. He believe that educating community leaders and bringing awareness to the growing problem of suicide ideation, depression and addiction in dependent teens that every family living thru crisis will get the support they need to cope with the challenges of military life in order to find happiness and become whole again.
Celebrating over 2 years of recovery Geoffrey is a symbol of strength and resilience. He shares, “Today I am in recovery and am proud to be sober. My journey isn’t over but I can say that when I reached out and accepted the help being offered I found hope. I learned that the only way to find real happiness was to deal with situations as they came up and work through the challenges as they present themselves. My hope is to give back to those suffering like I had helping them see that there is a world with infinite possibilities available to us all. I know that nothing can hold me back and hope that by sharing my story you will see that for yourself as well”.
