David Seamon

David Seamon is Professor Emeritus of Environment-Behavior and Place Studies in the Department of Architecture at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, USA. He edits Environmental and Architectural Phenomenology, which in 2019 celebrated thirty years of publication. His most recent books are Life Takes Place: Phenomenology, Lifeworlds, and Place Making (Routledge, 2018); and Phenomenological Perspectives on Place, Lifeworlds, and Lived Emplacement: Selected Writings of David Seamon (Routledge, 2023).
