Mary Olson is a medievalist and retired Associate Professor in the English Department at Tuskegee University. Although she has lived in Alabama since 1998, she is a native of the Midwest where she lived most of her life and received her education. In her spare time, she enjoys playing baroque sonatas on the recorder, painting, singing renaissance music in a schola cantorum, making jewelry, and traveling around the country to visit her children and grandchildren. Her late husband is Lee Humphrey.
