Steve Carter

Steve Carter is semi-retired and lives in the Scottish Highlands with his wife Julie and George, their golden retriever. His debut novel ‘Love, Sex and Tesco’s Finest Cava’ has had 60,000 downloads, reaching number one in Romance books.

Spurred on by his initial success, Steve wrote a second novel, 'Finding Yourself in Seville,' while running a five-star B&B on the Isle of Skye. This was also successful, reaching the top 20 on Kindle.

Running a busy B&B on the Isle of Skye took its toll. So it took another decade and moving across to the Eastern side of the Highlands before he completed his third novel, 'These Things Take Time,' which he wrote in collaboration with his wife, Julie, it was released in July 2024.
