A scientist by training and inclination Wilson started out as a zoologist, progressed to clinical genetics and writing and now runs Bewdley Orchids. This is a conservation based company dedicated to growing British native orchids from seed for reintroduction into our countryside. Born in Solihull, in the West Midlands and studying in London and having worked in Australia, India and New Zealand as a geneticist the tide brought him back to a gentle community in Bewdley where he started his business while continuing his writing.
