William Mannetti

A premature baby, William Mannetti went on to become a fully functional land mammal. Not long after the last ceratopsian strolled its final path on Laurentia, back when a dashboard was merely an instrument panel in an automobile driven by a human being, he wrote and illustrated "Dinosaurs in Your Backyard" (Atheneum), the first children's book to trace the link between dinosaurs and birds. His motto is "Find some pun in all that you do."
