Richard H. Jones

Richard H Jones holds an AB from Brown University in religious studies, a PhD from Columbia University in the history and philosophy of religion, and a JD from the University of California at Berkeley. He is the moderator of the philosophy of mysticism section of Stanford University's online Encyclopedia of Philosophy. He is the author of over a dozen books in the fields of philosophy of mysticism and general philosophy and has translated Buddhist and Hindu Sanskrit texts. He formerly was an attorney and lives in New York City.
