On July 31, 2006, Bridget Mary Meehan was ordained a Roman Catholic priest by women bishops who were ordained by Roman Catholic male Bishop in Apostolic Succession.She was ordained a bishop in April 2009. Bridget Mary Meehan serves as a bishop in the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests. She ministers as a priest in Mary Mother of Jesus Inclusive Catholic Community in Sarasota, Florida.
