Garry Potter

Garry Potter recieved his PhD from the University of Essex (UK) in 1990 and also taught there for many years. He came to Wilfrid Laurier University (Canada) in 2000 and has been teaching there, mainly social theory courses, ever since. He is currently Director of Graduate Studies for the Department of Sociology.

He is a fan of Frank Zappa, Bob Marley, Little Walter, Nick Cave, Tom Waits and many, many other wonderful musicians but few politicians. He draws inspiration from Marx . . . Harpo and Groucho, as well as Karl.
