Gene Ligotti

Gene Ligotti was born in New York City and was educated at Adelphi University on Long Island. He received his doctorate from New York University. After being afflicted with Rheumatoid Arthritis, he had to give up his successful thirty year practice of dentistry in Huntington, Long Island. He began writing, something he was always interested in, and it soon became a driving force.

Somewhat of an American Revolution history buff, his first three books were historical novels of interesting characters of the Revolution. He has written numerous children stories for his grandchildren: Gino, Gabrielle and Juliette.

Ligotti has also written the biography of Dr. Frank Lunati, the first battalion surgeon in Vietnam. The book is titled: Time Never Heals.

Gene Ligotti found his writing niche when he moved on to writing mysteries and suspense thrillers which have been well received by his numerous fans. He lives in Smithtown, New York with his wife Corbina.
