Arjan de Haan

Arjan de Haan currently leads the IDRC program supporting inclusive growth, and new initiative women's economic empowerment with DFID and Hewlett Foundation which analyses whether empowerment is 'smart economics'.

He has 15 years experience research and practice in international development and public policy, combining program management in development practice, with academic career with authored, edited books, and peer-reviewed articles. Most quoted for work on migration and on social exclusion.
