I am a retired consultant in pain medicine and anaesthesia from a leading NHS hospital in the United Kingdom.

In addition to writing 3 books in the field of anaesthesia and palliative care I have written in Peer reviewed journals articles of interest in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine.

My first novel was Doctors' Mess and after that I have published a trilogy of DI Nikki Barnes Thrillers, a detective based in Birmingham, UK.
