John Sauer

Sega video gaming legend John Sauer is a speculative fiction author who blends myths and legends from indigenous peoples worldwide with modern-day apocalypse, science fiction, and fantasy themes.

Sauer writes fiction with the same intensity and action as the video games he helped create. His genre-crossing books move fast and bring mythical, sometimes frightening beings to life.

When he is not writing or creating characters in different AI programs, he works with a worldwide fan base to keep the legends of the Sega Master System alive for generations of new gamers.

He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two dogs and is a Washington State Guard citizen/soldier. For fun, he is a rockhound and a diehard salmon and steelhead fisherman.
