Christopher Jarman M.Ed was educated at the Kings School Canterbury and joined the Fleet Air Arm at age 17. He served as an Observer in Gannets and Whirlwinds and spent two and a half years with the Royal Australian Navy. After eight years as a Naval Officer, he went to King Alfred's College in Winchester to train as a teacher. He became a village headmaster, a schools Adviser and finally the Head of Adult Education at the University of Roehampton in London.
He has written over 25 books on Educational subjects; and nine novels since his retirement.
He is a qualified Yacht skipper and has a private pilot's licence and aerobatic certificate.
He has been married to Sally for 53 years and has two sons and three grandchildren.
He likes to sail in warm waters and to paint in acrylics and watercolours for relaxation!
