Jackie Bennett

Jackie Bennett worked in television and magazines before becoming a full-time author. Her illustrated books include Wild About the Garden (Channel 4), The Writer’s Garden (2014 Frances Lincoln), Shakespeare’s Gardens for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (2016), Island Gardens (2018) and The Artist’s Garden (2019). The Wildlife Gardening Almanac (David & Charles) and a new international edition of The Writer’s Garden will be published in 2023. Her books have been translated into French, German, Swedish, and other languages. Jackie has appeared at the Wigtown Book Festival, The Cheltenham Literary Festival and on BBC’s Countryfile.
