Ralph B. Taylor is Professor Emeritus of Criminal Justice at Temple University, USA, and a fellow of the American Society of Criminology.
His most recent book is a textbook: Multilevel Model Foundations.
He has authored or co-authored over 90 refereed journal articles in criminal justice, criminology, social psychology, sociology, public health, epidemiology, urban affairs, and law and human behavior. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Mental Health, and the National Institute of Justice.
Before becoming an academic, he worked in a residential treatment center for pre-delinquents in Tilton, NH. He also spent a summer driving Pintos around the Baltimore-DC Metro area for Expressway Messenger Service.
