Jacqueline Jeynes

An author of non-fiction books, articles, and course materials, I have been a travel writer since 2010, am a member of British Guild of Travel Writers, Silver Marketing Association and Non-Fiction Authors’ Association based in the US.

My first books were based on PhD research into Risk Management, then books for CIEH, 10 BBC TV programmes for small firms, and speaker at international conferences including UN Congress on Women in Beijing.

With a BA (Hons) in Creative Arts and BA in Art History, I wrote 4 Distance Learning modules for Aberystwyth University. Pen Coed Textiles started in 2012, produced one of the first full-length guides on Peg Loom Weaving and a guide to Felt Making in 2019.

I enjoy long-distance walking, art, exploring new places to sample local food and wine, always with a Travel Journal to hand. I combine these in my travel books whenever I can.

So, an author, small-scale publisher, and editor. In 2022, "Targeting the Mature Traveler" was published by New York publisher BEP followed by a new guide "Managing Health and Safety in a Small Business". A further title, published by them later in the year, "How a Global Pandemic Changed the way we Travel". A revised version of Before Hiroshima was published by Chiselbury Publishing. New books and online courses are planned for 2022.
