Gregory Daly

Born in Dublin to an Irish father and an English mother, Greg Daly has studied in University College Dublin and the University of Manchester, and over the years has worked as a barman, a teacher, a university tutor, a journalist, and an editor, along with brief stints as an accidental archaeologist and a Dominican friar. Over the years he has won an improbable numbers of awards for religious journalism, walked across two countries, travelled far and wide to see Vermeer paintings, waved swords on an Italian hillside, chased a bear on a Canadian hillside, and sketched far too few family and friends. He lives with his wife in Drogheda beside the river Boyne, edits Leaven magazine, and has too many books bubbling away within.
