MOSS HALL has been writing, producing and directing for theatre, film and television for 25 years. With a degree in Film/TV from UCLA, he also attended the Yale School of Drama, where he studied theatre and playwriting. Numerous original one-act plays were staged at both schools.
As a writer/producer/director in film and television, Moss has network credits on PBS and has produced national award-winning programs. His non-fiction Y/A book was optioned by ESPN for a cable TV drama series. Several of his feature motion picture screenplays have been optioned by production companies in Los Angeles, and others have been finalists in major screenwriting contests.
Blind Boone (bio-drama): a screenplay co-written with Max Morath, based on the life of John William Boone, African-American musical savant, won first place in its category in the Nashville Film Festival screenwriting contest. His theater works have had staged readings in New York, with a Broadway cast, and at the Berkshire Theater Festival.
Moss now works from a hillside studio in Carmel Valley, California, with an astounding view of the Pacific Ocean.
