Christopher New

Christopher New was born in England,and educated at Oxford and Princeton Universities. He has lived half his life in Asia, where he was for some years Head of the Philosophy Department at Hong Kong University. He now divides his time between Europe and Asia. His novels, which have been translated into Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese have been set in China, India and Egypt, as well as in Europe. He is also the author of a book on the philosophy of literature. His latest novel is 'Chinese Spring,' to be published on May 16, 2019.
