Marc Simon

Before becoming an author, Marc drove a cab, worked in a steel mill, taught high school English, and was an advertising copywriter in Pittsburgh. He was also a member of a comedy group that performed weekly shows on public access radio and live shows throughout the Pittsburgh area.

Marc's short stories have been published in over fifteen literary magazines. Five of his one-act plays were winners in the Sugden Theatre New Plays Contest, and two were winners in the Pittsburgh New Works Festival.

Marc's debut novel, The Leap Year Boy was published in 2013. His novella, According to Isaac was published in 2025.
