John Sutton is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy and Cognitive Science at Macquarie University, Sydney. He studies memory, skill, autobiography, movement, sport, and dreaming. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Academy of Humanities, and a past President of the Australasian Society for Philosophy and Psychology. His visiting positions include fellowships at UCLA, UCSD, King's College London, Durham, Edinburgh, and at the Institute for Advanced Study in Paris.
