When I started to read, I started to write. As though I was channeling from the universe, I wrote poetry I couldn't understand, but grown-ups celebrated. Published at 15 by Seventeen Magazine, I had my first bestselling book by accident in The Main Event, when as an editor I wrote up a proposal for some freelancer to do a book on Pro Wrestling-a world I'd never seen barring one program on TV-and nine editors bid on it. Two years salary's worth! Many books, plays, articles, essays, theater reviews, and today, blogs, websites--in fact, anything I would quite frankly be compensated for--followed. I took writing for granted, although I did enjoy the rewriting process. After living in NYC, Miami Beach, and now LA, I find the two most important things in my life are: Being a metaphysician, a path found at 13 and guided by two teachers, and writing my memoir, LIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, which will be published in the manner I choose.
