Ronald Primeau was born and raised in Chicago and has written on Chicago writers, American road literature, the poets Paul Laurence Dunbar and Herbert Woodward Martin, television,literary theory and the writing process.He has lectured nationally on these subjects, and he teaches at Central Michigan University, in the center of Michigan's lower peninsula. Together with filmmaker David B. Schock, he has created the movie Jump Back Honey: The Poetry and Perfomance of Herbert Woodward Martin (www.jumpbackhoney.com).
