Ira Daniel Turkat

In 2011, Dr. Ira Turkat was named alongside three of the world's most outstanding clinical psychologists in history by the British Psychological Society (an organization of 50,000 psychologists) for his influential work in creating and developing case formulation - - along with Drs. Hans Eysenck, Monte Shapiro and Victor Meyer. Dr. Turkat is the only American named among the four. Ira Daniel Turkat has published over 100 scientific, clinical, forensic and professional articles, book chapters and books, and served for 15 years as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Psychopathology and Behavioral Assessment. His scholarly publications on Family Law disputes have appeared in leading legal journals including, The Judges Journal, Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and Court Review: The Journal of the American Judges Association, in addition to his many contributions to the psychological literature found in numerous clinical and scientific outlets. A Florida licensed psychologist, Ira Turkat served on the faculty at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and University of Florida College of Medicine.
