Jeff Wheelwright

Jeff Wheelwright is a freelance journalist, the former science editor of Life magazine, and a 2009 Guggenheim Fellow. His books are Degrees of Disaster (1994), The Irritable Heart (2001), and The Wandering Gene and the Indian Princess (2012). He has completed a fourth book, about Herman Melville in the Holy Land.
