C. Lawrence Evans

C. Lawrence Evans is the Newton Family Professor of Government at William & Mary. He is a former co-editor of the Legislative Studies Quarterly and chair of the Legislative Studies Section of the American Political Science Association. His newest book, The Whips: Building Party Coalitions in Congress, received the 2019 Richard F. Fenno, Jr., Prize for the best book about legislatures published the previous year.
