Giorgio Shani

Giorgio Shani is Professor and Chair of Politics and International Studies and Director of the Rotary Peace Center at International Christian University (Japan). From 2016 to 2017, he was a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Center of International Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science and served as President of the Asia-Pacific Region of the International Studies Association from 2014 to 2018. He is author of Sikh Nationalism and Identity in a Global Age (Routledge 2008) and Religion, Identity and Human Security (Routledge 2014).
