Brian Elliott

Brian Elliott grew up in a working-class household on Merseyside in the 1970s and 80s. Stemming from an initial interest in modern European thought, his publications range from monographs on Heidegger, Husserl, and Benjamin, to more recent studies of climate change politics, neoliberalism, urban development, and working-class culture. His interests are compellingly broad, his writing style clear and lucid, and his books engage with some of the most pressing political and cultural issues of our times.
