Jackie Martling

I've been in show business, or what I called show business, my entire life. School plays, telling jokes to whoever would listen, playing in bands throughout high school & college ... I lived and loved it all. I abandoned music (well, it had abandoned me from the start) & moved to stand-up comedy in 1979 ... and then in 1983 my three homegrown comedy lp's landed me on The Howard Stern Show, where I worked my way to head writer 1986-2001.

this is my story. a bit wild & crazy, a bit sad & dumb, but every syllable is the gospel truth.
