Len Clements is a court certified expert in the field of multilevel marketing. Since 1990 his full time field of study has been focused on researching and analyzing all aspects of MLM. Len has written and produced several MLM-centric books and audio presentations, including the internationally published book "Inside Network Marketing" (Prima), and has hosted a live talk radio program of the same title (KSCO, Santa Cruz). He has performed over 100 live presentations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Trinidad, and Russia, many of them involving how to discern a legitimate MLM program from an illegal pyramid, Ponzi scheme, or illegal security. Len has served for a combined eleven years on the boards of three distributor trade associations, has held senior corporate positions with MLM companies, including CEO, and has been a successful distributor as well (#1 earner in 8 of 10 years).
MarketWave began as a "Consumer Reports" type of organization which reviewed and rated network marketing companies (1990 through 1997). Len continues to actively research and analyze information specifically related to what causes MLM participants and companies to succeed and fail, both financially and legally, which he incorporates into his distributor training, corporate consulting, expert witness, and consumer advocate activities.
