Tutun Mukherjee

Tutun Mukherjee teaches comparative literature at University of Hyderabad. Her interests in research include comparative literature, cultural studies, women's writing, translation, theater and film studies. In addition to many articles, her book publications include the single-authored I.A. Richards and New Criticism (1990) and The Chicago Critics: An Evaluation (1992) and the edited volumes Staging Resistance: Plays by Women in Translation (2005/2013), Girish Karnad's Plays: Performance and Critical Perspectives (2006), Remembering Mother Tongues (with Sudhakar Marathe, 2008) and so on. Mukherjee has also published books of literary translations from Indian languages to English.
