Uma Suthersanen

Uma Suthersanen holds a Personal Chair in Global Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London. She has authored and edited over 70 publications and her works have been cited by the European Commission, UNCTAD, OECD, WIPO, WTO, and the Australian and Indian Governments. She is the Deputy Director of Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute. She holds degrees in law from the National University of Singapore (LL.B) and Queen Mary University of London (LL.M and Ph.D), and has qualified as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Singapore Supreme Court.
