Kees Boterbloem

Kees Boterbloem is a native of The Netherlands who has lived in four different countries for longer periods in his life: Apart from his native country, the Russian Federation (and, for a few months, the Soviet Union), Canada and the United States. He has taught at universities for over 35 years. He has written and edited more than a dozen books (eleven in English and three in Dutch, while another book in English is forthcoming in 2027), and more than 80 articles and reviews. From 2008 to 2018 and from 2023 to 2026 he was the chief editor of "The Historian," a peer-reviewed scholarly journal of history. A full professor of history, he currently teaches at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
