Sandra Picklesimer Aldrich

Sandra P. Aldrich, former president and CEO of Bold Words, Inc., in Colorado Springs, is a popular speaker, author or coauthor of 26 books, and contributing author to an additional dozen. In addition to her two Angel Awards, she earned the Golden Scroll (first place) from the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association in 2021 for the Christian Romance novel Embracing Eden: Zetta's Granddaughter Returns Home. She has a Master of Arts in literature and communications, but says it is her "PhD in the School of Hard Knocks" that formerly made her a guest on numerous TV and radio programs.

Those programs include "The 700 Club," "Prime Time America," "Concerned Women for America," "Family Life Communications," "100 Huntley Street," "Focus on the Family," "Lutheran Hour Ministries," "For Faith and Family," and "His Place" (aka: "The Diner Show").

In addition to radio and TV appearances, she has spoken throughout the United States and in Canada, Germany, and England. Her events range from Women of Virtue conferences, women's and couple's retreats, military bases, college conferences, hospice seminars, single-parent events, business meetings, and educational workshops. Always, she presents the serious issues of life with insight and humor.

Her 500-plus articles have appeared in several "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books, "Writer's Digest," "Moody Magazine," "Today's Christian Woman," and "Discipleship Journal," among others.

After fifteen years in a Detroit area public school classroom, she served as associate and senior editor of two Christian magazines for nine years.
