Working as an IT, networking and electronics engineer in the UK, I have been interested in cars from a young age, but one particular model has always had a special place in my heart - the Ford Mustang. After several years of owning and restoring British cars, I took the plunge and spent my hard earned savings on importing a 1968 Mustang Fastback. Unfortunately, the car that arrived required hundreds of hours of work and thousands of pounds to get it in order. Undeterred, I took on the challenge and fully restored the car myself in a two-car garage. The majority of the work was carried out by me, including the rebuild of the car's 5.0L (302ci) small-block V8 engine.
Several years and several cars later (although I still retain my first Mustang), I'm now a well known and active member of the local club and show scene, and regularly provide advice to other Mustang owners and club members.
I've written articles for magazines, websites, and two books published within the Veloce "Essential Buyers Guide" series.
I hope you find my books useful and informative.
Kindest regards,
Matt
