Linda Capus Riley is the author of three non-fiction children's books, two of which focus on aquatic subjects. She is a certified SCUBA diver who has swum with sharks, giant rays, and sea lions, come face-to-face with an octopus, and would rather be underwater than most other places. She has a Master of Arts in Communications from Temple University, and is an award-winning journalist, who worked for 10 years at daily newspapers in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
