farm house for the last 40-odd years, where we raised our three children and, with them, raised all manner of farm and domestic animals. I was active in local politics, was an active volunteer coach and leader, and served on the school committee for many years. I have traveled widely over time, and, of particular interest to this book, I have spent time at the Vatican in Rome. I am a life-long collector of all things old and interesting. My wife and I are currently enjoying a close and active relationship with our 3 grandchildren, who live neary. Now that I'm retired, I have time to write and share what I think are stimulating ideas.
