Molly Joss

Molly Joss is a writer, editor, educator, and publishing consultant who has spent more than three decades working at the intersection of publishing, technology, and communication.

Early in her publishing career she was Technical Editor for Seybold Publications and later founded the Joss Group, providing editorial, marketing, and consulting services to publishers and companies serving the publishing industry. Her work has appeared in many publications, and she received a Jesse H. Neal Award Certificate of Merit for her writing about copyright in the emerging Internet era.

Molly is also the author of several nonfiction books on design, technology, presentations, and publishing including *Looking Good in Presentations," "How to Do Everything with Photoshop Elements," "Graphic Design Tips and Tricks," and *Getting and Keeping the Printing Staff You Deserve."

In recent years, she has expanded her writing resume by authoring a number of screenplays, including "The Stars Above Us," which was named a quarter-finalist in the Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition in July 2026. Her newest work, *Liminal State," marks a move into publishing fiction—and the beginning of an experiment in micro-publishing: exploring shorter, self-contained works designed for the way people increasingly read in a digital world.
