Stuart H. Blackburn

Stuart Blackburn spent many years in India (with the Peace Corps and then doing academic research) and published more than a dozen books on oral traditions in that country. More recently, he has turned to writing fiction and published six novels, one of which ('Into the HIdden Valley') won the MM Bennetts Award for HIstorical Fiction. HIs latest novel, 'Luck of the Draw', draws on his personal experiences during Vietnam-era America.and tells the story of a young man who makes some difficult choices when faced with being drafted into the army and being sent to kill in Vietnam. He lives with his wife, Judith, in Brighton on the south coast of England.
