Abdul J Jerri

Dr. Abdul Jabbar Jerri, born July 20, 1932, is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York, 13676. Dr. Jerri is the author of numerous books and publications in mathematics, including: Integral Equations, Integral and Discrete Transforms, The Gibbs Phenomenon, Difference Equations, and Wavelets. Jerri has published a number of papers close to the subjects of his books, notably, his well received tutorial on Shannon Sampling Theory published by invitation by the IEEE in 1977. He is recognized in the area of Shannon Sampling Theorem, and is the founding executive editor of the journal, Sampling Theory in Signal and Image Processing (STSIP - website: www.stsip.org ), which is in its 13th year and in very good standing.
